This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Utilize expertise in after-tax brokerage accounts to assist clients in selecting the most suitable provider.
• Offer insights and guidance regarding qualified plan requirements, distributions, loans, investment options, and specific plan regulations.
• Identify and recommend appropriate IRA account types effectively.
• Clarify available college savings plan options through the PFC.
• Navigate the internal PFC 529 website to gather necessary information.
• Develop a comprehensive knowledge base and communicate the advisor relationship to employees.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues, providing effective solutions.
• Educate callers on intricate retirement and education funding concepts.
• Listen to customers attentively to recognize both expressed and unexpressed needs.
• Leverage data to guide, persuade, and influence customers in an objective manner.
• Pose relevant probing questions to evaluate customer needs.
• Collaborate with Call Center and Defined Contribution Client Teams to meet objectives.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial industry.
• FINRA SIE certification is mandatory.
• Must obtain FINRA Series 6 License and Series 63 License within six months of employment.
• Capability to utilize conceptual thinking for identifying patterns, applying concepts, and clarifying complex information.
• Proficiency in educating callers on complex retirement and education funding concepts.
• Strong listening skills to understand both articulated and unarticulated customer needs.
• Excellent rapport-building and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented mindset for engaging with colleagues in the Call Center and Defined Contribution Client Teams.
• Ability to leverage data to persuade and influence customers while providing objective guidance.
• Skill in asking relevant probing questions to assess customer needs.
• Legal authorization to work in the Employing Country without requiring future visa sponsorship.
