Brokerage Intake Specialist, Call Taker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Respond to member inquiries via phone and provide assistance.

• Conduct data entry, handle inquiry requests, and perform clerical tasks to support the Medical Brokerage Call Center.

• Input ride and billing details for completed services.

• Maintain and manage records and reports within designated responsibilities.

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail processing.

• Draft denial letters to the CCO.

• Prepare and uphold quality-control documentation.

• Manage incoming phone calls.

• Conduct interviews with eligible clients to gather necessary information for ride requests.

• Ensure timely ride assignments are provided to transportation providers.

• Evaluate eligibility in accordance with program guidelines.

• Document instances where providers are unable to fulfill ride requests and assist in arranging alternative services.

• Take messages and redirect calls to other relevant programs.

• At least one year of experience in a call center or medical office environment.

• Exceptional customer service capabilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

• Reliable and strong internet connection.

• Ability to adapt and multitask in fast-paced and evolving scenarios.

• Capacity to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.

• Positive mindset towards problem-solving.

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
