Brokerage Intake Specialist – Call Taker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Respond to phone inquiries and assist members.

• Conduct computer data entry, handle inquiry requests, and perform clerical tasks to support the Medical Brokerage Call Center.

• Input ride and billing details for completed rides.

• Maintain and manage records and reports related to assigned responsibilities.

• Process incoming and outgoing correspondence.

• Draft denial letters to the CCO.

• Prepare and uphold records for quality assurance.

• Answer incoming phone calls.

• Interview qualified clients to gather information for ride requests.

• Provide prompt ride assignments to service providers.

• Evaluate eligibility in accordance with program guidelines.

• Record rides that providers are unable to fulfill and assist with alternative arrangements for service delivery.

• Take messages and direct calls to other programs.

• At least one year of experience in a call center or medical office environment.

• Exceptional customer service abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Google Suite.

• Reliable and robust internet connection.

• Adaptable and capable of managing multiple tasks in response to urgent and changing circumstances.

• Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.

• Positive mindset with a constructive approach to problem-solving.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
