Brokerage Intake Specialist – Call Taker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Respond to phone inquiries and assist members effectively.

• Enter ride and billing data into the computer for completed rides.

• Maintain accurate records and reports within designated areas of responsibility.

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail processing.

• Draft denial letters to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).

• Prepare and uphold records for quality assurance.

• Manage incoming phone calls efficiently.

• Conduct interviews with eligible clients to gather necessary information for ride requests.

• Provide prompt ride assignments to service providers.

• Evaluate eligibility based on program guidelines.

• Document instances where providers cannot deliver rides and assist in arranging alternative services.

• Take messages and direct calls to appropriate programs.

• At least one year of experience in a call center or medical office environment.

• Exceptional customer service abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications.

• Reliable and robust internet connection.

• Capability to multitask in fast-paced and dynamic situations.

• Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information.

• Positive demeanor and problem-solving approach.

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
