Brewery Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Promote and sell the complete product range of Boston Beer Company.

• Concentrate on increasing sales and expanding the variety of product lines in retail environments, such as bars, restaurants, liquor stores, grocery stores, and convenience stores.

• Identify key accounts that currently do not carry BBC products and create strategies to initiate business relationships with them.

• Enhance account conditions and merchandising through building displays, rearranging coolers, and showcasing point-of-sale materials.

• Collaborate with distributors to ensure timely order placements, product deliveries, and business growth within accounts.

• Conduct training sessions for waitstaff and bartenders, organize beer tastings, and lead evening promotional events.

• Adapt to diverse working conditions due to the customer-facing aspects of the role.

• Occasionally work on weekends and holidays as required.

• Travel from time to time for meetings and training sessions.

• Regularly visit the market to service both retailers and wholesalers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of successful results-driven experience in outside sales or in the food and beverage sector.

• A strong competitive drive paired with an assertive and confident demeanor.

• A valid driver's license is required.

• Possession of a registered and insured vehicle.

• Capability to drive continuously to and from accounts.

• Ability to frequently lift and move cases of beer.

• Proficiency in climbing, kneeling, and stooping to arrange and display point-of-sale materials regularly.

• Residency in the Sussex County area is required, with a preference for candidates from Rehoboth, Lewes, Bethany, or Dewey Beach, Delaware.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
