This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.
• The Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for the Southeast Region will ensure that direct patient care is evidence-based and adheres to the requirements of SimpliFed's maternal health program.
• The Provider will evaluate and authorize breast pump prescriptions for patients of SimpliFed.
• It is expected that the Clinical Provider (NP) will maintain the highest quality of care for both the company and its patients.
• SimpliFed Providers will engage with patients through the company's electronic medical record system and virtual video platform.
• Communications from SimpliFed Providers should emphasize clinical significance while promoting patient health literacy and evidence-based decision-making.
• Review patient intake forms and finalize breast pump prescriptions.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in the relevant clinical field (Nurse Practitioner).
• Professional licensure in the respective clinical field (Nurse Practitioner), with good standing from the governing board.
• Possession of active medical licensure in good standing with the appropriate governing board(s) across the Southeast Region in the following U.S. states:
• Alabama
• Arkansas
• Florida
• Georgia
• Kentucky
• Louisiana
• Mississippi
• North Carolina
• South Carolina
• Tennessee
• Virginia
• Washington D.C.
• West Virginia
• Preferred: Active MMIS (State Medicaid) credentials in all states.
• Preferred: Professional certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) or Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), with good standing from the governing board.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare settings.
• A strong interest in maternal health and enhancing outcomes.
• Capability to work autonomously and make informed decisions in line with SimpliFed’s policies.
• Excellent active listening skills and sound judgment.
• Proven written and oral communication skills, along with proficient charting abilities.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows, healthcare quality and compliance standards, EHR data management, clinical documentation, HIPAA, and related regulations.
