Breast Pump Program Nurse Practitioner – Northeast Region Licensed

📋 Description

• The Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for the Northeast Region is tasked with ensuring that direct patient care is evidence-based and meets the requirements of SimpliFed's maternal health program.

• The Clinical Provider (NP) is expected to maintain the highest standards of care for both the company and its patients.

• Providers will be required to evaluate and approve breast pump prescriptions for SimpliFed patients.

• This position operates full-time remotely using devices approved by SimpliFed.

• The SimpliFed Clinical Provider (NP) will evaluate and authorize breast pump prescriptions and may also provide professional services consultations with patients through telehealth.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in the relevant clinical field (Nurse Practitioner).

• Professional licensure in the respective clinical field (Nurse Practitioner) in good standing with the governing board.

• Holds active medical licensure in good standing with the applicable governing board(s) across the Southeast Region in the following U.S. states:

• Connecticut

• Delaware

• Maine

• Maryland

• Massachusetts

• New Hampshire

• New York

• New Jersey

• Pennsylvania

• Rhode Island

• Vermont

• Active MMIS (State Medicaid) Credentials in all states is preferred.

• Professional certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) or Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), in good standing with the governing board, is preferred.

• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or other healthcare environment.

• A strong interest in maternal health and improving outcomes.

• Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions that align with SimpliFed’s policies.

• Excellent active listening skills and sound judgment.

• Proven written and verbal communication skills, along with strong charting abilities.

• Familiarity with clinical workflows, healthcare quality and compliance standards, EHR data management, clinical documentation, HIPAA, and related regulations.
