This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of and enhance the brand positioning across various channels, rooted in business objectives, audience insights, and market uniqueness.
• Create messaging frameworks, narrative foundations, and communication strategies that bolster and reinforce brand positioning.
• Spearhead brand storytelling efforts across campaigns, product marketing, public relations, web experiences, and lifecycle communications.
• Craft and refine impactful brand messaging and copy that ensures clarity, consistency, and emotional connection at all touchpoints.
• Work closely with the Creative Director to develop brand concepts, narratives, tone of voice, and strategic messaging.
• Collaborate with SEO and Growth teams to produce messaging that harmonizes brand identity, audience relevance, and performance goals.
• Convert audience insights, keyword research, and growth objectives into engaging, human-centered brand narratives.
• Maintain consistency in brand voice, positioning, and messaging across all customer interactions.
• Act as a senior brand voice across Growth, Product Marketing, Design, and various cross-functional stakeholders.
• Serve as a strategic advisor by shaping messaging direction, positioning strategies, and communication plans.
• Assess messaging and campaign effectiveness, test positioning theories, and adjust strategies based on insights and experimentation.
• Develop scalable systems, workflows, and editorial processes that promote sustainable brand growth and operational efficiency.
• Offer strategic guidance and feedback to freelancers and agencies while upholding high creative and editorial standards.
• Utilize tools, templates, and AI-assisted workflows to enhance efficiency, ideation, and quality at scale.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in copywriting, communications, or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to create and expand compelling B2B brand narratives, ideally within SaaS or technology sectors.
• Strong proficiency in brand voice development, messaging architecture, and strategic storytelling across various channels.
• Outstanding writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills, accompanied by a portfolio showcasing strong brand alignment, clarity, and impact.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with Growth, Product Marketing, Design, and leadership teams to shape strategic messaging efforts.
• Comprehensive understanding of AI-assisted writing and workflow optimization, with the ability to use AI tools responsibly to boost efficiency and creative output.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities independently.
• Familiarity with modern marketing, SEO, analytics, social media, and project management tools to inform positioning and communication strategies.
