Bookkeeper – UK Clients

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Accurately record all financial transactions in Xero and ensure regular reconciliations, achieving a 100% accuracy rate.

• Build trusted relationships with your client portfolio, offering clear financial insights and responding to inquiries within 24 hours.

• Assist the accounting team in completing month-end processes within five working days, guaranteeing accurate and compliant reports.

• Recognize opportunities to enhance bookkeeping processes, contributing to greater efficiency.

• Ensure timely submission of tax returns, payroll, and statutory filings while maintaining full compliance with UK accounting standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience working with UK-based accountants from the perspective of a UK accounting practice.

• Familiarity with UK accounting standards and experience in bookkeeping for VAT-registered clients based in the UK.

• Proficiency in XERO (preferably as a Certified User) is essential.

• Experience working with e-commerce clients.

• Computer literate with strong skills in Excel and Word.

• Self-motivated, positive, proactive, and detail-oriented.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Capable of meeting tight deadlines.

• Familiarity with software like Dext and Hubdoc Zendesk is a plus.
