This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
β’ Oversee the complete payroll process while ensuring adherence to Australian regulations, including Superannuation and PAYG.
β’ Prepare and execute Business Activity Statements (BAS) while ensuring accurate GST treatment for all transactions.
β’ Uphold the integrity of the Xero system by performing daily bank reconciliations and addressing reconciling items promptly.
β’ Ensure that all supporting documents are properly attached and categorized within the software.
β’ Handle high-volume accounts payable and receivable, which includes managing supplier invoices and billing cycles.
β’ Administer the remittance mailbox and proactively follow up on outstanding debts to maintain a healthy cash flow.
β’ Address accounting discrepancies and deliver data-driven summaries to support the senior accounting team.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper position in a similar SME or business setting, with practical, hands-on experience.
β’ Proficiency in Xero software is a must.
β’ Solid understanding of Australian Payroll, GST, and BAS obligations.
β’ Skills in analytical reporting, logical reasoning, and ensuring high-volume data accuracy.
