Bookkeeper

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Play an integral role in our expanding outsourcing services

• Support the senior management team in ensuring our outsourced finance, VAT advisory, and management reporting services meet and exceed client expectations

• Aid in client decision-making processes and enhance our outsourcing offerings

• Engage in bookkeeping data entry and preparation of management accounts to a high standard utilizing our cloud-based systems

• Collaborate with our OMB/SME private clients, whether on-site, remotely, or at our offices

• Establish and nurture strong relationships with a diverse range of clients

• Spot opportunities for continuous improvement within the client portfolio

• Manage the processing of Sales and Purchase Orders

• Prepare VAT returns for a variety of clients

• Conduct reconciliations of key balance sheet control accounts

• Handle VAT administrative tasks, including registrations, de-registrations, and other communications with HMRC as required

• Review, analyze, and interpret management information

• Have a strong passion for accuracy and meticulous attention to detail

• Exhibit excellent communication and planning abilities

• Show experience managing a portfolio of clients

• Possess the ability to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders

• Be solution-oriented with a client-focused perspective

• Have experience with cloud-based accounting software, specifically Xero, SAGE, Quickbooks, Dext, and Free Agent

• Demonstrate knowledge in essential VAT areas, including DRC, land and property, partial exemption, and international transactions

• Have a solid understanding of CIS regulations
