This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Share accountability for and contribute to the strategic, financial, and structural growth of the organization.
• Act as a representative for the organization both internally and externally.
• As a member of the three-person executive board, take on the leadership and management responsibilities of the association in collaboration with the Country Manager Germany.
• Oversee financial administration, prepare annual financial statements, and document the allocation of funds.
• Coordinate and supervise the annual audit carried out by an external auditor.
• Review monthly financial reports.
• Ensure adherence to legal, tax, and statutory obligations.
• Attend eight plenary board meetings annually and engage in regular online meetings with the executive board.
• Assist with project controlling and reporting.
• Serve as a sparring partner for the team in the creation of new projects.
• Alignment with the values and mission of Street Child, including a strong team spirit, sense of responsibility, and commitment to transparency.
• Availability of at least 10 hours per month.
• Experience in financial administration, preparation of annual financial statements, and documentation of fund utilization.
• Ideally, experience in fundraising, organizational development, and in project controlling and management within international development, humanitarian aid, or a similar non-profit or commercial environment.
