Board Certified Behavior Analyst, BCBA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform in-depth evaluations of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder to assess their behavior, skills, and requirements.

• Create tailored Behavior Intervention Plans and work alongside multidisciplinary teams.

• Plan and execute evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis interventions.

• Monitor and modify treatment plans based on client progress and evolving needs.

• Enhance clients' social, communication, academic, and daily living abilities.

• Mitigate maladaptive behaviors while fostering positive behavior modifications.

• Gather and analyze behavioral data to assess the effectiveness of interventions.

• Maintain comprehensive records and compile progress reports.

• Provide education and support to parents and caregivers on implementing behavioral strategies at home.

• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and other professionals.

• Oversee and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians and direct support personnel.

• Conduct performance evaluations and offer professional development opportunities.

• Engage with community resources and support networks.

• Ensure that interventions adhere to ethical, professional, and regulatory standards.

• Remain updated on research related to behavior analysis and autism treatment.

• Manage crisis situations utilizing de-escalation techniques.

• Complete daily clinical documentation in SpringHealth’s Electronic Health Record system.

• Create staff training procedures and materials.

• Prepare monthly and quarterly notes to document client progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and be in good standing with the BACB.

• Experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programs with behavioral interventions.

• Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification is mandatory.

• Familiarity with age-appropriate activities and behaviors.

• Understanding of CPT codes, payor rules, regulations, and policies.

• Knowledge of research-supported treatment modalities and assessment techniques.

• Capability to review and interpret technical information and produce technical documentation.

• Reliable transportation is required.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged standing, occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, and frequent actions such as pushing, pulling, reaching, turning, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and climbing.

• Capacity to engage in and demonstrate knowledge of approved crisis management procedures.

• Proficient in accurately recording and entering data in line with Oakwood requirements.

• Ability to make independent decisions with sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail.
