Board Certified Behavior Analyst, BCBA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Perform thorough evaluations of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

• Create personalized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and work alongside multidisciplinary teams

• Develop and execute evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies

• Track and modify treatment plans based on client development and evolving needs

• Utilize ABA methodologies to enhance social, communication, academic, and daily living skills

• Mitigate maladaptive behaviors and encourage positive behavioral shifts

• Gather and assess behavioral data to determine the success of interventions

• Maintain thorough documentation and compile progress reports

• Provide education and assistance to parents and caregivers in applying behavioral strategies at home

• Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and other professionals

• Take part in interdisciplinary team meetings

• Oversee and guide Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and direct support personnel

• Conduct performance evaluations and offer professional growth opportunities

• Connect with community resources and support networks

• Ensure that interventions adhere to ethical standards, professional guidelines, and regulations

• Keep updated with the latest research in behavior analysis and autism treatment

• Manage crisis situations effectively using de-escalation techniques

• Complete daily clinical documentation in SpringHealth’s EHR system

• Assist in the creation of staff training procedures and materials

• Produce monthly and quarterly notes tracking client goal advancement

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in good standing with the BACB

• Possess a Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field

• BCBA certification is mandatory

• Experience in implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming and behavioral interventions

• Familiarity with age-appropriate activities and behaviors

• Understanding of CPT codes, payer rules, regulations, and policies

• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and assessment techniques

• Capability to review and interpret complex technical information

• Ability to write technical documents and communicate persuasively to achieve desired outcomes

• Skill in analyzing situations, identifying core issues, and drawing informed conclusions

• Must have reliable means of transportation

• Physical capability to perform tasks such as standing for long periods, infrequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, reaching, turning, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and climbing

• Ability to participate in and demonstrate knowledge of approved crisis management procedures

• Proficiency in recording and entering data accurately, neatly, and objectively in line with Oakwood standards
