Bluefield Driver Engineer, C/C++

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct research to determine the most effective methods for implementing client requirements and ideas.

• Engage in technical discussions with both the team and clients.

• Primarily develop software utilizing C/C++, while occasionally employing other programming languages.

• Create unit tests for your code, participate in code reviews, generate documentation, and engage in various software development activities.

• Efficiently resolve bugs and effectively identify workarounds for obstacles.

• Occasionally participate in technical pre-sales meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.

• Solid theoretical and practical understanding of networking concepts (L2, L3, L4, Ethernet).

• Experience in programming Linux device drivers.

• Theoretical and practical knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies.

• Experience with embedded software processes (flashing, booting, debugging, etc.).

• Proficient in English (minimum B2+ CEFR level).

• Experience in developing drivers or firmware for network interface cards (NICs); familiarity with Nvidia’s DPUs and/or DOCA Argus is a significant advantage.

• Experience with the DPDK library.

• Knowledge of BPF/eBPF and/or the BPF virtual machine within the Linux kernel.

• Familiarity with Cilium Tetragon.

• Experience with Kubernetes operators and/or Kubernetes CNIs.

• Knowledge of implementing day0, day1, and day2 requirements for network solutions.
