Blockchain Developer – Smart Contract Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts for decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain applications.

• Write secure, efficient, and maintainable Solidity code that is optimized for gas usage.

• Create and maintain automated testing frameworks utilizing Foundry, Hardhat, Anchor, or similar tools.

• Conduct reviews of smart contracts to identify security vulnerabilities, bugs, edge cases, and protocol-level risks.

• Analyze and address risks associated with flash loans, oracle manipulation, miner extractable value (MEV), governance attacks, and other DeFi threat vectors.

• Utilize security and analysis tools such as Slither, Mythril, Echidna, Certora, Tenderly, or comparable platforms.

• Assist with audits, bug resolution, secure deployments, and ongoing monitoring post-deployment.

• Optimize gas consumption, storage configuration, and overall contract performance.

• Document technical decisions, protocol assumptions, and security considerations thoroughly.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Solidity and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-based smart contracts.

• Practical experience with Foundry and/or Hardhat frameworks.

• Strong understanding of Ethereum principles, including gas optimization, storage layout, events, and upgradeable contract patterns.

• Familiarity with DeFi concepts such as token standards, staking, lending, automated market makers (AMMs), bridges, vaults, and governance mechanisms.

• Proficiency in writing secure, reliable, and maintainable smart contract code.

• Experience in testing, debugging, and reviewing smart contracts effectively.

• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities in smart contracts, including reentrancy, access control vulnerabilities, oracle issues, precision errors, and front-running attacks.

• Familiarity with OpenZeppelin libraries and proxy patterns.

• Strong attention to detail, ownership of tasks, and excellent communication skills.
