This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Deliver specialized technical guidance in the field of blast and protection engineering.
• Manage the design of blast protection measures.
• Supervise production and workload for projects related to blasts.
• Collaborate closely with clients to comprehend their operational practices and objectives.
• Support business development efforts.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of threats and their implications.
• Create high-quality documentation.
• Oversee projects on behalf of clients.
• Advocate for best practices in Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E).
• Extensive technical knowledge in security, particularly in blast analysis and design.
• Demonstrated ability to identify operational and strategic needs to establish a foundation for design.
• Proficient in blast modeling and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
• Skilled in using ANSYS, AutoDyn, or similar software for advanced 3D finite element modeling.
• Strong grasp of physical security solutions and applicable performance standards.
• Background in threat mitigation, structural vulnerability assessments, and evaluation of façades and glass.
• Exceptional document writing abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Robust project management skills.
• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities.
• Advanced technical and design expertise in structural design and security assessment.
