Biopharma Production Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Enhance regional recognition of Avantor’s offerings as a manufacturer and supplier of bioprocess chemicals, sera, single-use technologies, buffer management solutions, and bioprocess systems.

• Advocate for products and services that facilitate the production of monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, cell and gene therapies, peptides, and other biologics.

• Collaborate closely with various Technical Applications Specialist teams to engage customers in value-added initiatives and technical projects.

• Establish and nurture long-term business relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and drive sustainable growth.

• Implement company strategies to achieve sales growth within the designated region.

• Foster internal alignment among key stakeholders to ensure customer opportunities are effectively managed and executed.

• Identify and spearhead the development of new custom manufacturing opportunities.

• Propel growth in strategic product categories, including single-use assemblies, fluid handling systems, mixing technologies, and buffer management platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Genetic Engineering, or another relevant life sciences field.

• At least 5 years of sales experience in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry or a closely related life sciences sector.

• Demonstrated success in achieving and surpassing sales targets.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

• Ability to identify the need for change and implement suitable strategies to facilitate it.

• Capability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and perform effectively under pressure.

• Self-driven team player skilled at managing multiple priorities concurrently.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Business-level proficiency in English.

• Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
