Biology Expert – AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Develop sophisticated biology challenges that push the limits of cutting-edge AI systems

• Design deterministic tasks that yield a single correct solution

• Provide comprehensive, validated solutions

• Create challenges that encompass experimental reasoning, biological systems, computational analysis, or bioinformatics workflows

• Utilize Python and, when applicable, specialized biology or bioinformatics tools

• Maintain high standards of rigor, reproducibility, and technical clarity

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biology or a related field in life sciences

• Experience in research or industry related to computational or quantitative biological analysis

• Proficient in Python programming

• Preferable experience with data analysis or bioinformatics workflows

• Strong reasoning skills and comfort with complex scientific problem-solving

• Capability to formulate original, challenging problems rooted in practical biological applications

• Excellent written English skills and meticulous attention to detail

• Familiarity with bioinformatics toolkits, genomics workflows, structural biology tools, or computational biology techniques is advantageous

• Experience in designing technical assessments or scientific challenge problems is a plus

• Cross-disciplinary experience that bridges biology and computation is a bonus
