BIM Modeler, Framing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the digital framing/build process and liaise with internal and external project teams.

• Create and manage 3D models utilizing REVIT, MWF, and Navisworks.

• Generate framing shop drawings, spool sheets, material reports, schedules, and CNC files for roll forming.

• Identify, coordinate, and resolve conflicts or clashes involving DBC panels.

• Ensure that DBC models comply with quality standards, construction documentation, and project specifications.

• Offer training and support to both internal and external team members regarding DBC processes and tools.

• Conduct facility walkthroughs to inspect panel fabrication.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM/VDC.

• Alternatively, at least 3 years of experience in commercial framing and drywall as a lead, with strong computer skills.

• High School diploma or equivalent, along with 3+ years of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with exterior by-pass framing in either metal or wood.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural engineering plans.

• Experience with CFS framing and/or EIFS/rainscreen finishes is advantageous.

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is beneficial.

• Familiarity with curtain wall, storefront, window, and door shops is a plus.

• Experience with Revit, MWF, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Box, ACC, Monday.com, and/or Smartsheet is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative work.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Must be capable of prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.

• Must be able to walk through production facilities.

• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
