This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver a variety of analytical functions and support to the Billing Support team.
• Mainly concentrate on offering billing support and education to physicians.
• Engage in ad-hoc projects as required.
• Aid in the implementation of the Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) Payment Model and the provision of FPSC Physician Payments.
• Provide direct assistance to physicians regarding billing support.
• Create, coordinate, and enhance billing education services.
• Collaborate with physician billing educators to produce LFP resources.
• Evaluate and enhance FPSC Physician Payments.
• Engage and work together with internal teams, partners, and government entities.
• Acquire expertise in the LFP Payment Model and FPSC Physician Payments.
• Respond effectively to billing inquiries.
• Maintain and enhance billing resources, such as FAQs and billing guides.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver billing education.
• Possess an undergraduate university degree in a recognized and related field, AND up to two years of relevant experience; OR have an equivalent level of related work experience in place of post-secondary education.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, and relationship management skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong capability to translate technical information for diverse audiences.
• Exceptional skills in critical thinking and analysis, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal interactions.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to apply problem-solving skills with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.
• Excellent writing capabilities, along with a proven track record of creating clear, concise, and comprehensive correspondence, reports, and briefing notes.
• Ability to synthesize and critically evaluate feedback from various sources.
• Interest in and experience with process improvement.
• Experience in project management, including timeline implementation, budget estimation and monitoring, and risk identification.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Understanding of adult education principles is an asset.
• Familiarity with change management methodologies is an asset.
