Billing Specialist – Legal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough reviews of client contracts daily and set up matters once cases are activated.

• Create invoices for clients, addressing routine, electronic, and complex billing arrangements.

• Monitor, track, and report on various assignments and their progress.

• Perform data entry, editing, customization, and processing of client invoices in line with contract terms.

• Analyze, track, and report on Work In Progress (WIP).

• Provide guidance and support to fellow billing staff as needed, once trained and qualified.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of full-charge billing experience within professional services or a law firm is essential.

• Proficient in 10-key data entry, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Experience with Workday or Elite 3E is required.

• Outstanding organizational skills, strong follow-up abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting deadlines.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects with competing demands, often under tight deadlines.

• Actively engage in a collaborative team atmosphere.

• Dedicated to delivering high-quality customer service, both internally and externally.

• Consistent attendance and reliability are crucial.

• Experience with e-billing, including E-Billing HUB, is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with international multi-currency billing is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Experience in bankruptcy is preferred.

• Candidates must be able to provide verification of their legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
