Billing Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee consumption-based billing procedures, encompassing both Direct and Marketplace billing models.

• Ensure that all billing validations and control checks are conducted to uphold high accuracy standards.

• Conduct reconciliations between Marketplace billing data and NetSuite billing outputs, identify discrepancies, and facilitate resolutions.

• Examine invoices to ensure compliance with company policies and contractual agreements.

• Promote ongoing enhancements in billing workflows and automation processes.

• Execute daily analyses, exception reviews, and system reconciliations to guarantee precise reporting.

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and saved searches in NetSuite to fulfill business requirements.

• Create and implement ad hoc queries and analyses to provide business insights and support decision-making.

• Monitor and manage billing-related emails and inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.

• Collaborate with FP&A and GTM Ops for forecasting, accruals, and revenue visibility.

• Assume complete responsibility for billing controls and ensure seamless month-end and quarter-end closing cycles without delays or escalations.

• Identify and apply process improvements, automation solutions, and efficiency initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• CA / CPA / CMA with over 7 years of experience, or M.Com / MBA (Finance) with 10+ years of pertinent experience.

• Experience with SuiteBilling or Marketplace tooling is advantageous.

• Strong familiarity with NetSuite (preferred) and knowledge of Salesforce.com is a bonus.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Background in consumption-based or usage-based billing environments.

• Capable of managing a team consisting of 4 to 5 direct reports.
