This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in gathering insurance eligibility information necessary for kit shipment and patient billing requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from providers, patients, and payors regarding claim denials, billing statements, EOBs, and payment options.
• Provide education and assistance concerning Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance questions.
• Navigate supplemental payor websites to verify eligibility.
• Collect payments, set up payment plans, aid with Financial Assistance requests, and process refunds.
• Manage billing interactions via phone, email, and other communication channels, including both incoming and outgoing calls.
• Share product and service information and direct contacts to the appropriate resources.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to HIPAA, Quality Policies, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and contact center procedures.
• Complete the necessary Epic processes assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
• Uphold the company mission, values, Quality Management System, inclusion mindset, and maintain reliable attendance.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proven ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to apply customer service principles and practices effectively.
• Competence in working within a team environment, adapting to changing workloads, and functioning independently.
• Reliable attendance and capability to adhere to the designated schedule and work overtime as required.
• Proficiency in working at a computer and typing for approximately 90% of a typical workday.
• Successfully pass an Exact Sciences Epic processes assessment with a score of 80% or higher.
• Preferred: Experience in inbound/outbound healthcare contact centers.
• Preferred: Familiarity with contact center telephony and technology.
• Preferred: Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences.
