This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in gathering insurance eligibility information necessary for kit shipments and patient billing requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from providers, patients, and payors regarding claim denials, billing statements, EOBs, and payment alternatives.
• Provide education and support for Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance inquiries.
• Navigate supplemental payor websites to verify eligibility.
• Collect payments, set up payment plans, assist with Financial Assistance requests, and process refunds.
• Manage billing communications via phone, email, and other channels, including both incoming and outgoing calls.
• Offer product and service information and direct contacts to the appropriate resources.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to HIPAA, Quality Policies, the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and company procedures.
• Complete the required Epic processes assessment with a minimum score of 80%.
• Contribute to the company’s Quality Management System.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance, working the assigned schedule and overtime as required.
• Demonstrate inclusion-minded behaviors while upholding the company’s mission and values.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience is required.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Proven ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Experience in an inbound/outbound healthcare contact center is preferred.
• Familiarity with contact center telephony and technology is preferred.
• Demonstrated exceptional customer service experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
• Ability to apply principles and practices of customer service effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, adapt to changing workloads, respond quickly to new information, focus on tasks, and work independently.
• Reliable attendance and the ability to work the designated schedule and overtime as required.
• Proficiency in using a computer, keyboard, telephone, and desktop applications for approximately 90% of the workday.
• Successful completion of the Exact Sciences Epic processes assessment with a score of 80% or higher is required.
