This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the determination of insurance eligibility necessary for kit shipping and patient billing requirements.
• Respond to inquiries from providers, patients, and payors regarding claim denials, billing statements, EOBs, and available payment options.
• Provide education and assistance with inquiries related to Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance.
• Navigate supplemental payor websites to verify eligibility.
• Collect payments, set up payment plans, assist with Financial Assistance requests, and manage refund processing.
• Conduct billing communications via phone, email, and other channels; support both incoming and outgoing calls.
• Supply information about products and services while directing contacts to the relevant resources.
• Ensure accurate documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations, Quality Policies, and the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
• Execute responsibilities in accordance with contact center policies and procedures.
• Achieve a minimum score of 80% on the required Exact Sciences Epic processes assessment.
• Adhere to the company's mission and values, complying with Quality Management System policies.
• Maintain consistent and dependable attendance.
• Demonstrate an inclusive mindset.
• Possession of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Capability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Previous experience in an inbound/outbound healthcare contact center is preferred.
• Familiarity with contact center telephony and technology is preferred.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to adhere to a designated schedule and work overtime as required.
• Capacity to work on a computer and type for approximately 90% of the workday.
• Ability to complete the Exact Sciences Epic processes assessment with a score of 80% or above.
