This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Lead and nurture a team of billing and accounts receivable professionals through effective coaching and performance evaluations.
• Ensure billing is accurate and timely for claims, fees, and client charges.
• Create and uphold robust billing controls to avoid errors and prevent duplicate charges.
• Track accounts receivable balances, unapplied cash, and payment patterns to enhance collection efficiency.
• Develop dashboards and metrics to monitor accuracy, timeliness, and quality of outcomes.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Client Experience teams to optimize processes and introduce new tools.
• Serve as a subject matter expert during audits, client assessments, and system upgrades.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management (healthcare/PBM preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership with experience in supervising staff directly.
• In-depth knowledge of internal controls, reconciliations, and revenue recognition.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems and billing automation tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
