Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Generation of invoices in accordance with established procedures;

• Conduct quality assurance checks on automatically generated invoices to ensure data accuracy and completeness;

• Execute monthly billing reconciliations between invoices created through the ERP system and local Nota fiscals;

• Collaborate with various departments (finance, sales, customer service) regarding contract terms, payments, client inquiries, and reporting;

• Oversee customer interactions, managing calls, emails, and incoming requests from clients within the assigned regions (Southern and North America), ensuring timely responses and delivering customer feedback;

• Maintain ongoing communication with debtors;

• Supervise the debtor portfolio specific to Southern America.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or similar accounting processes is preferred;

• Bachelor's degree, ideally in finance or accounting;

• At least 1 year of experience in customer-facing roles (experience in SaaS B2B is advantageous);

• Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite is preferred);

• Knowledge of local Brazilian invoicing practices;

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;

• Strong analytical and systems skills;

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently;

• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;

• Good understanding of business communication standards;

• Intermediate proficiency in Portuguese is a plus;

• Experience with ticketing systems is a plus;

• Familiarity with CRM platforms (Hubspot preferred) is a plus;

• Practical experience with AI-driven tools is a plus.
