Bilingual Immigration Junior Paralegal, Legal Assistant – English, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• At least 6 months of experience in humanitarian immigration cases (VAWA, T Visa, U Visa)

• Proficient in taking declarations and drafting legal documents

• Fundamental understanding of immigration legal documents, processes, and workflows

• Proven ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English

• Strong proficiency in written drafting, grammar, syntax, and legal style

• Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment

• Excellent client communication skills characterized by clarity, empathy, and professionalism

• High attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy

• Quick learner of new processes, workflows, and legal concepts

• Client-centered approach with sensitivity to humanitarian cases

• Analytical mindset with the ability to logically organize facts

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in case requirements or regulations
