This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Proactively manage a designated caseload while adhering to specified service level agreements and targeted turnaround times.
• Execute daily administrative responsibilities, including timely responses to emails and phone inquiries.
• Evaluate claims by considering contractual, medical, and vocational challenges.
• Foster positive relationships through regular collaboration with plan sponsors, plan members, treatment providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Draft letters to convey relevant benefit-related information grounded in analytical reasoning.
• Exhibit resilience, emotional intelligence, and empathy when engaging and communicating with plan members.
• Fully bilingual in French and English.
• Possess a college or university degree in a healthcare field or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven ability to make impactful decisions efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with disability management and/or group benefits is considered an asset.
• Experience in a health-related domain is a plus.
• Proficient and comfortable in managing both incoming and outgoing calls.
