This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua.
• Manage incoming and outgoing patient calls in both English and Spanish.
• Address emails, texts, and patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Deliver friendly, empathetic, and patient-focused customer service.
• Conduct appointment reminders and follow up on treatments.
• Assist in enhancing patient engagement and treatment acceptance.
• Efficiently schedule, confirm, reschedule, and oversee patient appointments.
• Coordinate calendars and streamline scheduling workflows.
• Ensure that patient information and appointment details are accurate and up to date.
• Facilitate smooth communication between patients and the dental team.
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to appointments.
• Assist with billing coordination and payment posting.
• Support claims follow-up and insurance documentation processes.
• Help patients comprehend coverage and payment-related information.
• Manage patient intake and demographic updates.
• Maintain precise digital records and documentation.
• Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative processes.
• Ensure that all records are organized and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
• Contribute to additional operational tasks to enhance office efficiency.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both spoken and written) — REQUIRED.
• English proficiency level: C1 or higher is mandatory.
• Effective and professional communication skills with a neutral accent preferred.
• A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in: U.S. dental administration, U.S. healthcare administration, dental front desk support, medical scheduling, or insurance coordination.
• Strong understanding of: dental workflows, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and patient communication.
• Experience with dental PMS platforms such as: Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar systems.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
• High attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
