Big Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Executing queries and processing extensive datasets utilizing Trino (SQL);

• Handling data within the AWS framework through PySpark;

• Analyzing application hosts/domains based on traffic data;

• Creating audience segments derived from website interactions, call data, behavioral patterns, and segment criteria;

• Overseeing and verifying the accuracy and completeness of gathered data;

• Structuring data into formats that are easy to use;

• Producing basic visualizations and reports using Power BI or similar tools;

• Extracting information and insights from data while identifying trends and patterns;

• Performing A/B tests to assess and evaluate the quality of data models;

• Designing and maintaining automated data workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience with SQL (Trino, Presto, or similar);

• Proficiency in managing large-scale datasets in distributed environments (AWS, PySpark);

• Strong proficiency in Excel;

• Exceptional attention to detail;

• Ability to extract insights from substantial amounts of data;

• Fundamental knowledge of statistics;

• Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools;

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities;

• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.

• Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with telecom data;

• Understanding of web/app traffic and domain classification;

• Proficiency in Python.
