BI & Strategic Analytics Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Define and implement Hilo's Business Intelligence strategy, facilitating data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

• Serve as a strategic ally to Finance, Product, Commercial, Clinical, and Leadership teams.

• Convert intricate business challenges into scalable analytical solutions and actionable insights.

• Lead the advancement of Hilo's BI capabilities, promoting reporting excellence, data governance, and self-service analytics.

• Provide timely, precise, and actionable insights that bolster operational and strategic decision-making.

• Partner with business leaders to uncover analytical opportunities and establish reporting requirements.

• Encourage the adoption and continuous enhancement of reporting and analytics tools organization-wide.

• Assess and improve reporting performance, usability, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Develop and uphold BI standards, governance frameworks, and best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and reliability across analytics solutions.

• Advocate for a data-driven culture within the organization by promoting effective data utilization in decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience leading Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Management initiatives in a dynamic, data-centric environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business, or a related discipline.

• Proven expertise in creating scalable Business Intelligence solutions utilizing platforms such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.

• Proficient in SQL and data modeling principles.

• Experience with data warehouses and cloud platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse, etc.).

• Strong comprehension of ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant area.

• Familiarity with modern data stack technologies.

• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics purposes.

• Experience in Agile project management environments.

• Relevant certifications (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Azure, AWS, etc.).
