BI Reporting and Analytics Developer/Analyst – Custody

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design and implement reports and dashboards focused on Custody.

• Validate, adjust, and document both automatic and custom SQL metrics for Radar.

• Develop stored procedures for clinical reporting requests to be utilized in Cogito SQL templates.

• Generate Radar components derived from Cogito SQL reports and metric frameworks.

• Revise code and dashboard metrics in response to new regulatory and operational demands.

• Lead projects and conduct meetings with operational leaders to collect requirements for new requests and enhancements.

• Estimate project timelines and provide updates to stakeholders.

• Deliver status reports, manage expectations, and communicate risks and issues to stakeholders both within and outside of analytics.

• Guide regulatory agency monitors towards reporting outputs and instruct them on their usage.

• Adhere to SDLC standards for unit testing, peer reviews, subject matter expert validation, production migration, and publishing.

• Assist with knowledge transfer, mentorship, SQL code reviews, and the peer review of deliverables.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Epic Clarity Data Model analytics development, including EpicCare Ambulatory and Inpatient (IP).

• 5 years of experience in SQL query and stored procedure development.

• Strong background in creating stored procedures using Clarity data within a clinical environment.

• Familiarity with Epic tools, including SlicerDicer, Cogito SQL, and Radar.

• Experience with Epic Inpatient workflows, encompassing Admissions, Flowsheets, Discharge Medication Reconciliation, and Quality metrics.

• Experience with Epic Ambulatory workflows, including Visits, Consults, Orders, and Groupers.

• Proven experience in generating Business Intelligence outputs in a Custody/Jail setting.

• Capability to mentor junior developers, conduct SQL code reviews, and facilitate peer review processes.

• Strong grasp of SDLC processes, including testing, validation, and production migrations.

• Certification in Epic Clarity Data Model/Clinical or Financial (or their legacy equivalents) is preferred.
