BI Developer – Systems Integration Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create BI Dashboards and SRSS reports.

• Ensure that documentation and definitions of business and technical metadata remain current and accessible for explaining data from source systems.

• Manage datasets in alignment with metadata and Hummingbird/Planview definitions.

• Develop datasets to address informational requirements.

• Identify data quality concerns and assist information governance by engaging in necessary activities.

• Conduct effective unit testing and debugging to guarantee that quality solutions are provided for system testing.

• Transform legacy reports (mainly Business Objects) into BI solutions.

• Assist with ongoing system integrations and data migration efforts across Hummingbird clients.

• Perform technical design of integration workflows.

• Aid in analyzing current business processes and IT infrastructure to determine necessary system connections and data sharing needs.

• Design and develop integration solutions utilizing APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), middleware, and various data transformation methods.

• Implement and test deployed solutions.

• Troubleshoot and document all deployed solutions for clients.

• Oversee monitoring and maintenance of all deployed solutions for clients.

• Strong technical aptitude in engineering, reverse-engineering, and tracing capabilities.

• Experience in a corporate environment, collaborating with senior executives.

• Background in customer-facing roles requiring consultancy skills.

• Proven track record as a key contributor in cross-functional teams or projects.

• Prior experience in customer support and troubleshooting.

• Demonstrated performance in their respective area of expertise.

• At least 2+ years of experience spanning industry, product, or architecture domains.

• Minimum of 2+ years' experience in delivering business solutions, including business value modeling and Data Management Frameworks.

• At least 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in BI development or analysis.

• Familiarity with data acquisition, profiling, cleansing, and consolidation.

• Experience in creating data visualizations such as reports and dashboards.

• Proven capabilities in end-to-end data architecture, including data modeling and data warehousing.

• Competence in performing requirements analysis.

• Proficiency in testing capabilities.

• Proficient in SQL, including low-level stored procedures and complex queries.

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI.

• Knowledge of system integrations.

• Familiarity with Cognos or SSRS.
