BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver actionable insights for business users.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to gather requirements, comprehend business processes, and convert them into effective data models and reporting solutions.

• Write, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

• Build and oversee data models, datasets, and visualizations with a strong emphasis on clarity, precision, and storytelling.

• Ensure data integrity and security across all reporting solutions.

• Keep abreast of best practices in BI reporting, data visualization, and information design, applying them to continuously improve reporting standards.

• Identify opportunities for automation and enhancement of reporting processes for increased efficiency and scalability.

• Assist the business with ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional knowledge of Power BI — encompassing data modeling, DAX formulas, advanced dashboard design, and report optimization.

• Strong proficiency in SQL — capable of writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries for large and diverse datasets.

• A thorough understanding of informational design principles — adept at visually structuring data for clarity, impact, and decision support.

• Proven capability to translate complex data into intuitive and insightful visualizations and reports.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

• Nice to have: Experience in iGaming, fintech, or other highly regulated, data-intensive fields.

• Familiarity with additional BI tools or programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
