Basketball Instructor for Young Kids

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Are you interested in earning money while staying active and teaching life skills through basketball and various sports?

• We provide a competitive hourly wage, on-the-job training, a flexible schedule, and incentive programs.

• We are looking for coaches to join our basketball program at the Boys and Girls Club and several Kipp Schools.

• Founded in 2003, Amazing Athletes has expanded to become one of the largest multi-sport enrichment programs in the nation, enrolling over 50,000 children each year.

• The coaching schedule will run from Monday to Thursday, with games scheduled on Saturdays, depending on the specific school.

• Practices are typically held from around 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, with some sessions possibly occurring on Saturday mornings based on school needs.

• Take advantage of the chance to earn up to $1600 from February 24th to April 25th!

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

• Experience working with children is highly preferred, whether in a professional or volunteer setting, especially in coaching or teaching roles.

• A true passion for sports and basketball, along with a dedication to inspiring young learners.

• Flexibility to work during the afternoon hours (3-5 PM) and, occasionally, Saturday mornings.

• Must have reliable transportation for traveling to different locations.

• Ability to engage and build positive connections with children.

• A clean background check is required.

• Certification in CPR and First Aid is necessary.
