Banking Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Lead the complete application process for operational, client, and merchant bank/EMI accounts in various high-risk sectors.

• Collect and organize corporate legal documents, UBO ownership records, and operational flowcharts to fulfill bank underwriting criteria.

• Foster relationships with bank relationship managers and monitor ongoing applications to reduce setup delays.

• Manage annual bank assessments, respond to ad-hoc transaction inquiries, and inform banking partners of any changes in corporate structure.

• Establish account access and document fees, limits, and cut-off times for a smooth operational transition to the Finance team.

• Report directly to the Director of Finance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in opening corporate bank/EMI accounts within iGaming, cryptocurrency, or high-risk FinTech sectors.

• Strong comprehension of UBO corporate structures, apostilled documentation, and the requirements for bank underwriting.

• Knowledge of global banking systems, SEPA/SWIFT routes, EMIs, and payment institutions.

• Exceptional organizational skills, tenacity in pursuing application updates, and proficient English communication.

• Previous experience or background in PSP (Payment Service Provider) onboarding, acquiring solutions, and payment gateway setups is a plus.
