Background Investigator, DHS Credentialed/Experienced

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references, and other informed individuals.

• Examine relevant records to gather essential facts.

• Address all significant issues in investigative cases.

• Determine the background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of subjects under investigation.

• Record all gathered information accurately.

• Deliver detailed investigation reports within strictly defined timelines.

• Contribute to the DHS Background Investigation Program.

• Potentially assist with other background investigation programs at CACI.

⛳️ Requirements

• DHS credential and experience in conducting background investigations.

• Current favorably adjudicated T5 or T5R investigation.

• Demonstrated quality, timeliness, and production metrics.

• Minimum clearance required to begin: Top Secret.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a favorable determination based on a Single Scope Background Investigation.

• Willingness to travel locally, up to 10% of the time.

• Capacity to engage in prolonged periods of standing, walking, and typing.

• Spanish-speaking ability is preferred.
