This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Lead and guide a skilled development team in the EU region, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Offer technical direction and ensure adherence to best practices in software development, code quality, and architecture.
• Engage in high-level architectural and design decisions for intricate software systems.
• Oversee the development lifecycle from gathering requirements to deployment, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Conduct regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance the team's skills and performance.
• Manage the performance and career growth of team members.
• Facilitate ongoing improvements in development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Over 8 years of experience in software development, emphasizing backend technologies (e.g., Java, Node.js, Python, Go, etc.).
• More than 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity, including mentoring, performance evaluations, and task allocation.
• Strong background in software architecture and designing scalable, dependable systems.
• Practical experience in backend development, with a strong focus on APIs and microservices.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, with the ability to manage and collaborate within a remote and diverse team.
• A passion for technology and innovation, coupled with a commitment to tackling complex technical challenges.
