Backend .NET Developer III, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical implementation of complex and critical features and solutions within the Finance GB domain, serving as the squad’s main hands-on executor.

• Produce clean, efficient, and secure code, engage in code review processes, and ensure sufficient coverage of unit, integration, and regression tests for the features developed.

• Implement Information Security policies (Security by Design) during the development lifecycle, conduct risk assessments, and ensure solutions adhere to internal and regulatory standards.

• Act as a technical reference for supporting the product in production, guiding the investigation and resolution of complex incidents and problems (troubleshooting) to maintain system stability and availability.

• Collect and analyze performance metrics utilizing observability tools (tracing, logs) to identify bottlenecks and propose/implement solutions that enhance system efficiency and scalability.

• Collaborate proactively with Specialists and Tech Leads in the planning and architectural design of solutions, emphasizing technical feasibility, sustainability, and maintainability.

• Investigate and implement technological innovations that enhance Finance GB products and processes, including the application of Artificial Intelligence concepts to boost solution efficiency and intelligence.

• Serve as a technical reference point for the team, promoting improvements in code quality, design, and services (informal mentoring for Mid-level and Junior developers).

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, ensuring a solid knowledge base is available for reference and consultation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in backend software engineering, with a history of holding Senior roles.

• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ (or an alternative message broker).

• Extensive knowledge of automated testing (unit, integration), SOLID principles, and object-oriented design.

• Solid understanding of cloud computing (GCP/AWS) and microservices architecture.

• Comprehensive knowledge of application security (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and system hardening practices.

• Familiarity with or experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science concepts, along with experience integrating AI models into backend systems.

• Proven success in performance optimization and scalability of transactional applications. Experience and solid understanding of financial processes and solutions.

• Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
