This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for global products utilizing Java.

• Create a high-performance, highly available, and secure backend system to robustly support BigPay Fiat business operations.

• Participate in and enhance the entire service lifecycle, from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.

• Develop and sustain tools while re-engineering capacity planning infrastructure to achieve greater scalability.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software issues while ensuring data security and a comprehensive system architecture.

• Construct production LLM systems to enhance business functions, transitioning data to production with a focus on automation and reproducibility.

• Optimize and support LLM workloads in on-premises environments.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in software development and architecture.

• Strong proficiency in **Java** and backend frameworks (such as Spring Boot, RESTful APIs).

• Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), messaging systems (like Kafka, RabbitMQ), and microservices architecture.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Linux and computer networking.

• Experience in profiling, benchmarking, and optimizing machine learning applications.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for effective coordination with international partners and stakeholders.

• Experience in Java code development, ideally with Apache open-source project contributions.

• Background in high availability, high performance, and resource optimization.

• Experience in the architecture design, code development, and performance tuning of LLM-related projects.

• Experience in LLM training and the development of optimization-related platform tools.
