Backend Engineer – Validator Engine Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Oversee and improve our custom-designed validator engine.

• Set up and manage the validator engine to align with jurisdictional standards.

• Enhance the rules engine (developed in Java) to accommodate new use cases.

• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize JSON-based DSL rules for precision and compliance.

• Utilize Claude Code and other AI tools judiciously to enhance productivity.

• Work collaboratively with team members to support ten jurisdictions.

• Guarantee comprehensive testing and validation of all configurations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.

• Proficient in Java and the Spring Boot Framework.

• Committed to producing high-quality, maintainable code.

• Exceptional communicators with strong proficiency in English.

• Open to guidance from senior engineers with extensive experience.
