Backend Engineer – Internal Tools

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold backend services and internal tools that facilitate engineering workflows.

• Participate in the enhancement of CI/CD systems and the methodologies for building and deploying software.

• Recognize and assist in resolving friction points within the development lifecycle through automation.

• Collaborate with seasoned DX engineers to implement platform enhancements.

• Work alongside engineering teams to identify their needs and enhance the developer experience.

• Assist in AI-driven improvements to developer workflows when applicable.

• Strong background in building backend systems for production environments.

• Proficient in Node.js, Python, or Go.

• Experience with APIs and cloud-based architectures.

• Interest in CI/CD processes, infrastructure, or developer tools.

• Capability to take on greater ownership over time with guidance from the team.

• A product-oriented mindset: you prioritize usability and the developer experience.
