Backend Engineer – Infra, Core Sending

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in defining the architecture to accommodate millions of daily API requests

• Develop and scale infrastructure capable of sending dozens of millions of emails each day

• Enhance high availability across distributed applications

• Optimize databases such as Postgres and Clickhouse to maintain peak performance

• Improve observability through monitoring tools like Datadog

• Update disaster recovery plans to ensure swift and reliable recovery

• Contribute to building infrastructure utilizing IaC frameworks like CDK and TF

• Engage with Typescript and Golang

• Design and manage asynchronous pipelines (queues, streams, idempotency, retries, DLQs)

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in back-end engineering with an emphasis on cloud infrastructure

• Proficient in both written and spoken English

• Ability to work within the Americas timezone

• Capable of thriving in open-ended problems and diverse situations

• Experience in managing large workloads on AWS

• A strong desire to assist fellow developers

• Hands-on methodology to problem-solving

• Familiarity with event-driven systems at scale (Kafka, SQS/SNS, or similar)
