Backend Engineer, Go

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage Go microservices that drive the core of the system.

• Engage in system redesign, ETL for re-platforming, and integration with current services.

• Collaborate with Apache Pulsar to facilitate real-time data distribution.

• Ensure observability and reliability through effective logging, metrics, and tracing.

• Deploy and oversee services within Kubernetes environments across various cloud platforms.

• Contribute to the fields of Data Engineering, Platform, and DevOps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in backend software development.

• More than 5 years of professional experience working with Go (Golang).

• Hands-on experience in designing or maintaining microservices.

• Familiarity with event-driven messaging systems like Apache Pulsar (preferred), Kafka, or NATS.

• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing.

• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes operators, CRDs, and Helm.

• Understanding of cloud CI/CD systems and delivery pipelines.
