Backend Engineer – GenAI, Python, Kotlin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Participating in the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects while ensuring timely delivery and compliance with quality standards.

• Contributing to intricate technical projects, ensuring the development of robust, secure, and scalable software solutions.

• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers, promoting a collaborative and productive work atmosphere. This involves task delegation, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating effective team communication.

• Fostering innovation by encouraging fresh ideas, influencing software development, and working closely with product management to create user-centric solutions.

• Designing and deploying cloud-native solutions utilizing GitLab CI/CD for AWS, thus contributing to a broader engineering strategy and enhancing cross-team collaboration.

• Making an impact beyond your immediate team by helping drive the Engineering strategy and participating in cross-team collaborations through inter-team working groups or community guilds, among other initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in software development, preferably with Python or Kotlin.

• Experience in large-scale web applications, possessing an economic-thinking mindset, and the ability to design well-defined domain systems.

• Expertise in architecting Cloud Native solutions, with AWS knowledge being advantageous.

• Experience working within multi-functional teams.

• Adherence to the principle of "you build it, you run it, you own it," emphasizing high-quality code, debugging, optimization, and automation as top priorities.

• Proven experience in developing AI/ML-enabled products.
