Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Create backend services utilizing Java or C# / .NET.

• Design and develop GraphQL APIs.

• Execute Kafka-based, event-driven integrations.

• Construct scalable data services with SQL and MongoDB.

• Establish caching strategies using Redis.

• Provide support and contribute to a microservices architecture.

• Enhance system performance, reliability, and operability.

• Engage in architecture and technical design discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required: 5–7 years of experience.

• Preferred: 7–10 years of experience.

• Strong backend development skills in either Java or C# / .NET.

• Experience in implementing GraphQL APIs.

• Practical experience with Kafka.

• Proficient in SQL development.

• Familiarity with MongoDB.

• Knowledge in implementing Redis caching mechanisms.

• Experience in supporting microservices environments.

• Agile delivery experience is a plus.

• Background in distributed systems architecture.

• Exposure to AWS or Azure platforms.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proven experience supporting high-traffic production systems.

• Familiarity with retail or digital commerce platforms.
