Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs.

• Create routing and aggregation logic to facilitate swap execution across various liquidity sources.

• Integrate both on-chain and off-chain data sources, including RPC nodes, indexers, and third-party APIs.

• Build simulation and validation components for transaction execution.

• Enhance system performance for scenarios requiring low latency and high throughput.

• Design data models for quotes, routes, transactions, and execution states.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability measures across services.

• Collaborate with wallet and frontend teams to maintain consistency in execution flows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, Go, or Rust.

• Proven experience in developing high-performance backend systems.

• Solid understanding of asynchronous systems and concurrency.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and data modeling techniques.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience in integrating blockchain data or working with Web3 systems.

• Nice to have: Experience with DeFi protocols or aggregators such as 1inch, 0x, or Uniswap.

• Background in building trading or execution systems.

• Experience with blockchain indexing tools like The Graph or custom indexers.

• Understanding of MEV, routing optimization, and slippage control.

• Experience with caching layers like Redis and performance optimization strategies.
