Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nigeria.

📋 Description

• Develop, test, deliver, and sustain product features, both new and existing.

• Generate technical documentation regarding feature developments.

• Conduct research on current and potential product features, identifying areas for enhancement.

• Commit to establishing and upholding secure coding practices and standards.

• Offer support for product features as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in similar roles.

• A minimum of a 2:1 degree in a relevant field of study.

• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript for backend development (NodeJS).

• Strong skills in using debuggers.

• Solid, practical knowledge of Git.

• Solid, practical knowledge of SQL query language (MySQL variant).

• Solid, practical knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB.

• Capable of interpreting business requirements and converting them into technical specifications.
